The Darn Walk

Well it's no good moping round the house just because I can't see too good. Pete dropped me off in Bridge of Allan and told me to walk home. So I walked the Darn Walk.

Cambusbarron

I parked at the Mill flats in Cambusbarron near Stirling.

Despite all the walking I did last year I hadn't actually got round to this one. I'm still finding new walks

This path goes up to the Touch Rd

Once, on the Touch Road the views are fantastic

I love Cambusbarron with all its red roofs

Craig Forth Hill

Stirling Castle looks great from here

I'm still surprised when I see Funghi around at this time of year? Thought it was only Autumn?

Oh No I've forgot so many of the wild flowers I learned last year, although these may not be wild

Clackmannan

Yes.... A brilliant walk with a brilliant person Bernie....I took her to Clackmannan

Along a lovely forest walk
We saw spectacular flowers

And came out on to Look Aboot You Road. How can a road be called that?

Dunblane by the river

I had a busy day ahead of me so took a quick local walk in Dunblane

This is part of the old railway track between Doune and Dunblane

It was good to see some colour among the browns and greys of winter

This pepper was sitting on the stone? A mystery but great colour

The track ends close to the station with steps up to Springfield.

I retraced my steps and headed down this path towards the river

The Mill Lade

The Faery Bridge

The old mill which is now flats
