Samson's Stone, Kilmahog

A trip to Samson's Stone for Saturdays walk in Kilmahog just outside Callander

The weather forecast had predicted rain but it turned out to be a glorious day

Its quite a steep approach to the stone

Its surprising that the stone doesn't roll down the hill. Its been there for million's of years

I picked some Rosehips to make some syrup

Pendreich Road, Bridge of Allan

The sun was shining on Monday when I headed for Bridge of Allan. I parked at the golf club and walked up Pendreich Road. It was glorious........

 

The rose hips looked so attractive with the sun shining on them. What stunning colours

It was hard to turn back but lunch time was over.

Fallin to Throsk

A walk today in Fallin. I headed along the public path to Throsk

 

Dumyat looking hazy in the sun today

 

Think these building are connected to the second world war and Bandeath which isn't far away.

The small hill above the houses is Fallin Bing which is on my list of walks.
