Ballachulish Bridge

My walk today took me to the beautiful west coast of Scotland

 

 

I walked from the village of Ballachulish towards to Bridge

I decided to pick up rubbish on my way to the coffee shop in Ballachulish. I got masses beside the road

 

Dunblane West

A lovely sunny day and I headed out towards Kilbryde from my home in Dunblane. Even though my eye sight is still poor I noticed this caterpillar on the path

 

Oh how I love butterflies

 

 

Its so nice to be out in the sunshine. Even with limited sight

 

 

The walk goes under the old railway bridge from Doune to Dunblane. I hear they are hoping to open this as a walk in the future. I'll be happy.

I continued to walk as much as I could as it passed the time of day and kept me fit. Still finding it hard to see. My operation was on the 2nd of Sept so I had another month of keeping myself busy. I chose walks which I knew, with a good even path. The only real problem was not being able to see bicycles coming towards me.

My sister April invited me on a whale watching trip so over I went. I love the west coast.
