South Erradale to Badachro

My 200th day of walking and what a wonderful location. I left everyone sleeping and headed out.

I followed the path which pointed to Badachro

It took me up into the hills but the path was not obvious. The way marker had fallen down and although I tried to find the path, the way was not clear, so I headed back down the hill

I continued along another path which took me past fields, through the valley.

I got to Badachro later in the day where we launched the boat for a dive trip to an island in the bay.The poor divers were too hot in their suits. We ended the day at the Badachro Inn which is excellent.

Flowerdale Waterfall and a spin round Loch Gairloch

This is a beautiful walk from Gairloch harbour up to the waterfall, although there is some work going on at the moment and I could get right up to the falls.

The horses had covers over their faces?

We went for a wee boat trip and saw these lovely baby seals

We landed on Longa Island and the midges were horrendous. We didn't stay long

Conservation Bay, North Strome

It was so good to visit Conservation Bay again. I haven't been here for years. We used to come often with the diving club for the day when we lived in Inverness . Its seemingly a fantastic dive.

I set off up the road while the divers were busy.

The scenery is so dramatic
