Holy Isle

I went to a yoga workshop/weekend on the Holy Isle. Had some great walks there.

My friends went swimming in the sea. I don't feel confident enough in my swimming yet but I will.

Ferries and boats always spell adventures to me.

Swan at Broomridge

Oh I'm sad now when I come here. This is the male swan. His mate had to be put down as she was hurt and couldn't look after her eggs

This is a great walk for wild flowers

 

 

The eggs are gone and no young to be seen. Only one adult swan. Wonder what's happened

 

 

A local informed me that the female swan was badly hurt by some wire in the pool and had to be destroyed. The male sat on the eggs but the eggs were eventually taken away as he didn't seem to be coping
