Sannox Glen , Arran


We drove up the west side of Arran heading for Sannox Glen.
 

Brodick Castle across the water

 
The sun came out as we were leaving the car park. The Glen looked inviting
 

 
I liked the interesting ladder into the grave yard
 
 
The view back to the sea was brilliant the higher we walked
 
 
The sun on the hill was so bright
 
 
We could see Little Cumbrae and the Power Station
 
 
The white posts were transit marks for leading lights. The are 3 sets and they allow ships to travel a measured mile. They can then calibrate their logs

The walk continued over the bridge
 
 
down to these falls
 
 
This is another walk I'm hoping to do another day
 

After the walk we took a drive to Lochranza and were surprised to see these deer so close to the road


 
We loved the sheep which the boats tied up to
