Meikle Bin

I decided to walk up Meikle Bin as it is a challenge to me. I don't like hills.  It seemed to go on and on. Everyone I asked if I was near the top said "it's just over the ridge." Ha. I still walked for over an hour and eventually gave up. When we looked at the tracker (map from it at end) I'd almost made it. Next time.

Callander Crags

We approached the Callander Crags by walking up the road from the top Bracklinn Falls car park

The sun was shining and the views were fabulous

We think this is a baby toad

We stopped at the Red Well and tasted the water.........disgusting. I don't recommend it

The views became better and better the higher we walked

This is the view behind Callander. There were loads of hill tracks that I would love to explore

These cattle wander over these hills freely

That's the road we walked up

A cairn to mark Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee

A wonderful walk..............Highly recommended
