Round Loch Creran

I love this walk round Loch Creran. When I did it last year I was lucky enough to watch 2 otters playing, but no sign of any today.

I'm planning a walk into this Glen one day in the not too distant future. It goes through towards Glen Coe

Its a 6 mile walk all the way round. The sun shone as you can see We drove 3 miles north for a coffee at the Castle Stalker Cafe

Taybank circular, Errol

A really fantastic walk. It was about 5 miles and I would definitely recommend it. I parked at the school in Errol and found the path quite easily. I got the walk from Walkhighlands..

Park of Keir, Bridge of Allan

I headed up the road beside the nursery in Bridge of Allan as I noticed a wee path up to the left when I had walked here earlier this year

Very quickly I was away from the hustle and bustle of the busy village

It took me on to the Park of Keir

Burnside Farm to the waterfall, Whins of Milton

The sun was shining today in Stirling when I headed down to the waterfall past Burnside Farm

 The Bindweed looked fantastic

 

I walked over the bridge and turned left

There is a platform over the falls

I took the path on the left which went down to the Bannock Burn

 

I have never been along here but it looks like they have been working on the path

 

Strathclyde Country Park

An interesting walk today. We set off to walk Stage 3 of the Clyde Walkway from The Water Sports Centre at Strathclyde Park and walked eastwards.

This is the Ross Viaduct. I was hoping to see Ross House but the view was hidden by the trees.

This is the Lime Walk of the Dalzell Estate beside the Clyde. We decided to turn left at the end of this path and walk back through the estate. I had picked up an interesting leaflet at the Water Sport Centre about the Estate.

The Dalzell House which is privately owned. It has 18 apartments within it. Beautiful, beautiful building

A great walk today with my biggest sister Lila ( I have 5 big sisters) my brother Normando and sister in law Kate. We walked over 8 miles and all felt it didn't seem far. There was lots to see,
