Woolcarders Court to Raploch

The sun was shining yet AGAIN in Stirling today for my lunch time walk. I parked in Cambusbarron at Woolcarders Court and headed down the footpath towards Raploch.

 

There were quite a few  butterflies but I only managed to photograph this one.

 

The path went down beside a lade which must have been used when it was a working mill nearby.

 

The landscape was peaceful

This is looking over to Homesteads which was a walk I did at the beginning of the year

This path takes you up to the A 811

Holmehill, Dunblane

This beautiful hill is right in the middle of Dunblane

 

The owners are wanting to build office blocks on the hill and have started to cut down some of the trees. The community are upset with the plans and would like to buy the land to preserve it.
