Grange over Sands again and Ravenglass

We were heading back home today and decided to explore more of the coast as we headed North. We took another look at Grange over Sands hoping to see across to Morecambe Bay but it was still too misty.

Its such a pretty town. We bought our picnic from a lovely bread shop....

This tree reminded me of a baby in a womb

Gosh, imagine cutting this hedge at this impressive hotel!

This is Ravenglass, further  up the coast where we had our picnic. Its located at the estuary of three rivers, Esk, Mite and Irt. It was an important navel base for the Romans

The main street was really interesting with some of the houses dating back centuries. I thought this ancient petrol pump worth a photo.

This was our walk at Grange over Sands
