Craig Rossie, Auchterarder

 

I just discovered Auchterarder for walking in last year. Although I'm not a hill walker I thought I would try going up part of Craig Rossie

 

I parked in the main street and it was quite a walk from there. I discovered that I can park at least 2 miles closer so I'll do that next time.

 

 

There's a quarry to walk through first. I think I must be a lot fitter as I was finding it quite easy going so far

 

 

I watched this bird for a while I think it was a Jackdaw?

 

 

I stopped here to admire the view. I didn't go any further as there was a gate with cattle being fed on the path on the other side. I didn't fancy going through them. I'll come back in the summer when they are up on the hill.
