This is a walk I have meant to do for ages. I parked at the ford at Gateside Road near Stirling
There was an inviting path through the trees
There was a carpet of leaves to walk over
The walk ran beside the Bannock Burn
Excellent mushroom on the path
I loved this clearing when I came across it
I decided to turn back at this point as I had my work clothes on and thought if I fell in here I would not have time to go home and change
I'm really pleased I have found this walk and will do it again when it's drier
The floor of the wood was carpeted in this green plant
