From the fishermans car park at the town side of the Craigforth M9 crossing, over the bridge and turn right along the river. This part of the river often gets flooded so I thought I would do this walk today as it was dry.
I walked along this bridge which is not the prettiest of sights
The water was so still
There is a substantial path used by the fishermen
This is The Weir Bungalow across the water
There were hundreds of small fish at the water edge. I was informed by the fishermen they were minnows
It was very peaceful walking along the side of the Forth
I think this house across the river is Old Mill Farm
Oh... the hills look wonderful
Looks like there was an old bridge here?
A peaceful spot to eat my lunch
The path continues along the riverside but I'll leave it to another day
