Glen Tilt

I stayed in a beautiful cottage last night amongst the hills above Blair Atholl. This was early in the morning. I heard a cuckoo

and saw this hare

This is Heaven. The views from the living room are to die for. Its peaceful and quiet and a very comfortable cosy house.

and at the bottom of the garden is Glen Tilt

 

A beautiful walk but not peaceful as there was a shooting range across the river which shattered the peace.

Blair Castle to the Whim

We parked at Blair Castle as I wanted to visit the Whim. The castle is getting work done it at the moment.

We walked through Diana's Grove and were astounded with the trees and how tall they were

The view from the Whim is fantastic. Its a Folly which was built in 1761
