A walk along the River Tilt, Blair Atholl

A Big Day today. We headed for Blair Atholl to Visit my Mum in Law Daisy to celebrate her 91st birthday. I took the opportunity to walk beside the River Tilt......The weather was magnificent,

It was such a beautiful walk. Its from a brochure called Atholl Trails. Its a gentle circular walk through the woods beside the River Tilt

According to the brochure there is a Wishing Well and a Witches Rock but we couldn't find them?

We spotted this cave like structure across the water

When we walked round to the North Bank we realised it was the Grotto where Queen Victoria stopped for a cup of tea

I wonder if it was especially built for her.

A beautiful walk
