Norrieston Farm, Thornhill

I decided to explore the village of Thornhill today. I couldn't find much info on walks and thought I would ask at the village shop but he didn't have a leaflet. He told us to head along the street and turn right where we would find a path.

I thought the sundial was interesting.
The village has a long High Street with many interesting cottages where Weavers and Tanners lived in the past

There's a campsite here with these cabins to rent

They look cosy

This is the picture from the view point

Again, there were are few paths to choose from. We took the one towards Norriston Farm

We came across this lovely path. We met a local who explained its was an ancient right of way which leads to the church on the High Street. She also told us about another walk up to the Muir Dam. I'm keen to do that but we have to leave until another day due to other commitments.

I'm wondering if this is Ben Ledi ?
