Loop Walk of Cruach Tairbeirt

I drove over to Tarbet by Loch Lomond this morning. I parked at the station, walked through the tunnel under the railway and up into the forest. It was windy at the start and I found the going steeper than I expected. But the views were fabulous.

 

 

This was a great relief as I was finding it steep up until here

 

sit in the seat above and you see this wonderful view of Ben Lomond

you cross the bridge below

 but don't pick the toadstools

 

and some pointers for another time
