The Hosh Walk, Crieff

I parked at the lower Knock car park in Crieff and looked for the beginning of the Hosh Path. I was using a booklet produced by the Perth and Kinross Rangers Service. I found the information confusing so asked a local and set off in the right direction down the road to the left of this picture.

Past the Crieff Hydro Activity Centre

The walk continues down a track through the golf course. The way is marked

The views were amazing

I had to cross the Shaggie Burn

But luckily there was a footbridge

I think this is a Green Veined White

The walk goes right through the Glen Turret Distillery

Scotland's oldest Distillery

The Turret Burn

The walk continues up through the wood's but I must have made the wrong choice further up as I got back onto the path I came down on which was a bit disappointing.

I drove up to the Upper Knock Cark Park which has fantastic views.
