Auchterarder, Johnny Matthew's Walk

This was a fantastic walk I did today with Sally. The walk is named after a postman who used to do this route. We left the High Street in Auchterarder and headed down hill and under the A9

It was a peaceful landscape with great views

I think this is Craig Rossie

Kincardine Castle

There were old mills in this part of the village. Some of the buildings were interesting

  1. That's Clone House, not Kincardine castle. The castle is much further down, by the Ruthven water. It's completely secluded by trees and a private road. However, Clone is a much prettier manor house in my opinion and a lovely feature on the hills.
