Todholes to North Third Trout Fishery

Sun was shining today as we set off towards North Third near Stirling

 

There were loads of paths heading off into the woods but we kept to the road for today

I was keen to get a glimpse of the reservoir which is on our right

 

When we got to the entrance, there was a notice about the Fishery being closed in 2012 due to on going work. I hadn't realised this.

 

 

Ahh..... the water, but we had run out of time........I'll be back for more walking round here. It was beautiful

 

 

This is the Bannock Burn which goes into the Reservoir and out the other end
