Killearn Glen

 

left Dunblane today in bright, bright sunshine. We drove through horrible dense fog and arrive in Killearn

George Buchanan was born here. Interesting man. Taught Mary Queen of Scots. Worked in Europe

 

I love the hills which surround the village

 

We struggled to find walks. I didn't have a leaflet nor could find much on the internet. I knew there was a Glen Walk and asked various people before we eventually arrived here

 

 

There were lots of paths to choose from

 

 

It was a bit wet underfoot with a few difficult crossings

 

I was too much of a wimp to attempt this ladder on the tree
