St Serf's Church, Dunning to Maggie Wall's Memorial

We parked in the village centre and were planning to visit the witches memorial but took a detour into St Serfs church only to find this amazing piece of Pictish Art. Its called the Dupplin Cross and it was found on a hill 3 miles away. Its amazing its not more weather beaten as its from the 9th Century.

There is an Archaeological dig going on at the moment beside Church Tower

This is Maggie Walls Memorial which is a mile outside the village. There is a bit of a mystery about her death. She was burned as a witch but there is no record of it.
