This is a great walk along the old railway line from Buchlyvie to Aberfoyle. I parked in Buchlyvie and walked half a mile down Station Road to meet the path. It is marked from here. It was raining very slightly. (where has the sun gone)
The path crossed over Flanders Moss which is one of the largest lowland raised bogs in Britain and one of the most intact bogs in Europe. They are cutting down a lot of trees. I believe it so they can preserve the bog.
I thought these were strange but interesting holes on the bridge back to the village. They were on both sides.
