Top of the Town, Stirling

This is Sma' Vennel a tiny wee street in Stirling. I headed up the Spittal today towards the Top of the Town


This is a beautiful park on the way up. Not sure if it has a name?



 This is the door way of the Old High School built in 1856



This is the Church of the Holy Rude. This is the 2nd oldest building in Stirling after the Castle. Its the only surviving church in the UK apart from Westminister Abbey to have held a Coronation. On the 29th of July 1567 the infant son of Mary Queen of Scots was crowned James VI of Scotland.

 The Tolbooth which is now a music Venue. Our two oldest children played here in their various bands. Brilliant nights.
