Randolphfield Stones, Stirling

Today my walk took me to the Livilands part of Stirling. I went to visit the Randolphfield Standing Stones outside Police Scotland. There were 2 of them.

These stones are supposed to have played a strategic role on the first day of the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314

This is the bigger of the two stones and it looks like 2 stones have been joined together ?

Wet walk today. Unusual so far this year.
