This was a new walk for me and I had no idea what it would be like. I parked just at the start of the wood just off Polmaise Road and headed into Fir Park Wood. We met someone who told us there were various walks but some were very overgrown and muddy. We decided to stay on the main path.
It eventually came to an old gamekeepers cottage.
