The Waterfall Walk, Aberfoyle, Queen Elizabeth Forest Park

March 1st and this is day 60. I'm still walking. It was so warm today I did not wear my coat. There is lots of work going on at the vistor centre. I planned to walk to the waterfall which I hadn't done for years. The kids were small when I last came here. There seems to be a new path. I got there eventually.
This is a statue dedicated to Lumber Jills from the second world war. Is that where "getting a lumber" comes from?

There were at least five of these very skinny people hiding in the woods.

There are giant legs on the right hand side about to cross the bridge.
