Kenningknowes Community Woodland, Stirling

After the mystery of the plant yesterday was solved, proving to be a Butterbar, I headed for Batterflats today as the starting point of my walk.

So I took a walk in
which are looked after by the community.

The daffodils were just starting to open so I'll have to go back when they open fully. It was cold and damp but I missed the rain. I was looking forward to getting back to the office for some hot soup as I am still feeling unwell.

There are lots of signs of spring with the daffadils and the snowdrops below

and I think a creeping jenny. No. More like a bog buttercup which is where we came in with butter. But it has too many petals. Ah well another mystery.
