Kelvingrove Park and Glasgow University

I had a great walk in Glasgow today. The sun was shining and the Bluebells were just coming out.

We used to come here as teenagers to watch bands. Fond memories. I'm glad the place is getting restored.

5 March 2013: Glasgow Building Preservation Trust advise that, subject to final funding, the intention is to commence the restoration of the Bandstand in June 2013.

Ragwart, the first I've seen this year. So many yellow wild flowers are out at this time of year. Butterflies love this plant but its poison to horses.

The Beautiful Cloister's of Glasgow University. The University started in 1451 but it was in a different location. It was started by the Catholic Church. We met one of Lawrence's friends who was telling us this. Thanks Donald !
