Ladysneuk, Cambuskenneth

I walked over the river into Cambuskenneth and then along Ladysneuk towards the level crossing. It was beautifully sunny and fresh. Incredible views north of snow covered hills.

The Wallace Monument is such an icon of this area. That and Stirling Castle can be seen for miles around. Here we are quite close to the monument.

These roly poly haystacks always look so amazing.

I do not know what is growing in this field before you ask. Nothing yet by the looks of it. But the hills look incredible.

And here is the castle looking across the rugby pitches.
